Yolanda, also known as Haiyan, is an extremely powerful Category 5 Super Typhoon that affected Philippines, Micronesia and Vietnam.

In the Philippines alone, reported are 5,598 fatalities (information November 29, 2013) and National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council recorded 26,136 injured and 1,759 still missing.

Yolanda affected 2,325,638 families or 10,956,460 people in 11,996 villages in 44 provinces in Philippines. 580,481 houses are destroyed, 587,625 houses are damaged.
