BusinessCom® Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) service provides enterprise-class
connectivity via terrestrial copper and fiber optic circuits. Highly scalable and low-latency DIA circuits
feature exceptional SLA parameters to support critical applications.
Dedicated Internet Access
Unlike consumer broadband services, BusinessCom DIA services are guaranteed to deliver constant 100% CIR
bit rate, with up to 99.99% SLA uptime. The DIA service is usually configured as symmetric
bi-directional channel, although asymmetric configurations are also available upon request. The service
is currently available throughout the United States via a wide network of fiber optic carrier partners,
such as CenturyLink, AT&T, Cogent, Equinix, Verizon, Comcast, XO and others.
The DIA service can be seamlessly integrated with BusinessCom satellite connectivity solutions in order
to extend networks to any point on Earth equipped with the BusinessCom VSAT terminal. This allows to
support a wide range of applications, including Internet transit connectivity for remote ISP networks,
voice and video trunking, extensive data transfers, scientific missions, virtual services, and many
others. Key highlights of BusinessCom DIA services are:
- Flexible and scalable connectivity
- Symmetric, fully dedicated CIR bandwidth
- Available via wide range of access options
- Diverse routing via multiple fiber optic carriers
- Redundancy options
- 24/7 NOC technical support
Connectivity
Each DIA circuit is assigned to an operations manager available for technical and commercial inquiries at
all times. Our service is fully personalized. Any issues are quickly escalated to the C-level to assure
the fastest resolution time possible (generally up to 4 hours).
The DIA service is available via multiple access options, including:
- Flexible and scalable connectivity
- Fast Ethernet
- 1 and 10 Gbps Ethernet
- Bonded DS1, up to 12 Mbps
- Full port and fractional DS3
- OC3 (155 Mbps)
- OC12 (622 Mbps)
Typical circuit installation times are 60-90 days. The service can be enhanced with SD-WAN load
balancing and fail-over solutions, unified threat management, WAN optimization, and managed accelerated
VPN services.
