This strategic alliance will enable WISeSat to launch its new generation of secure satellites with the launch vehicles of INNOSPACE, namely the HANBIT-SERIES, that will provide cost effective and innovative and reliable access to space. With its innovative success in the launch of satellites into space, INNOSPACE has a variety of affordable yet flexible launch services that can meet the special needs of satellite operators who include WISeSat. The alliance highlights the synergies of the two entities in terms of promoting quantum resistant and secure IoT connectivity in the global arena. As part of WISeSat’s broader diversification strategy, the company is simultaneously establishing partnerships with multiple launch providers across different regions—including collaborations with India’s emerging space sector through companies like Skyroot Aerospace—to accelerate constellation deployment and strengthen its global infrastructure footprint.
Regarding this partnership, Carlos Moreira, Founder and CEO of WISeKey stressed that the collaboration with INNOSPACE has been a huge step toward expansion of the WISeSat capabilities in secure satellite communications and that South Korea has become an essential force in the global space business and that the innovative technology of INNOSPACE has become a natural solution to the vision of the company of providing secure and reliable satellite communication infrastructure. According to Soojong Kim, the Founder and CEO of INNOSPACE, to team up with WISeSat will be an opportunity to integrate the ability of INNOSPACE to launch its products agilely and WISeSat to offer innovative satellite technologies, and he believes that the pair can create the possibilities of being able to access space safely and reliably. Through this partnership, both leaders recognized that it will be possible to explore more opportunities to work together in the field of space-based cybersecurity, AI-enhanced satellite applications, and more services.
The cooperation is also based on the successful implementation of the post-quantum cryptography (PQC)-ready nanosatellite of WISeSat that also includes innovative security components and cryptography solutions tailored to mitigate the threat of quantum computers in the future. WISeSat quantum-resilient satellite infrastructure together with agile launch capabilities provided by INNOSPACE will put the two companies at the head of the pack as far as safe satellite communications are concerned. This cooperation also sets the stage for future joint missions aimed at expanding secure space-based services to new markets and applications. By combining advanced quantum-resistant technologies with INNOSPACE’s proven launch expertise, WISeSat and its partners are creating a comprehensive ecosystem for next-generation satellite communications. This alliance demonstrates how strategic international partnerships can accelerate innovation in space technology while simultaneously strengthening global cybersecurity infrastructure for an increasingly connected world.
